This is an overview of the course of study. In this course, each year of study is divided into two blocks. Almost every block is half a year long. In the first block of the first year of study, you get the basics of programming. In the second block of the first year, you will continue with the basics of programming, but you will learn more by actually doing it.

As you can see, there are two different ways the training can go. This is because there is also an accelerated route which allows you to do the course in three years instead of four. You can qualify for this if you perform in block A perform well enough and if the lecturers feel you can handle it. If you qualify for the accelerated route then you will get an extra subject in the following blocks with the material you "miss" over the rest of the course.
